In 2005, Jim and his wife and business partner, Ann Marie Nugent, founded The Bay Area Team at Compass. Today, they specialize in luxury homes, equestrian and country properties, and unique estates. Jim also works with trusted relocation and referral partners around the world, helping clients navigate moves across the country and internationally.

A Danville resident since 1970, Jim's deep local knowledge and long-standing community relationships are central to his work. He shares that knowledge through community storytelling, exploring the people, places, and history that make the East Bay home. Outside of real estate, he enjoys family time, traveling the world, discovering fabulous wines, sailing and stream fishing.
